I.S.A. (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborist are individuals who have achieved a level of knowledge in the art and science of tree care through experience and by passing a comprehensive examination developed by some of the nation’s leading experts on tree care.
Some people refer to us as tree doctors or tree surgeons.
Trees are similar to humans in many ways. We both have vascular tissue that serve a similar function: to carry necessary blood or nutrient throughout the organism. We humans take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide, while trees take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen. There are many more similarities.
In the same way that humans need professionals when we are sick, contract diseases, or to remain in good health etc., trees need professionals as well. This is why we need to hire Certified Arborist.
We treat trees with antibiotics, miticides, insecticiides, bark sprays, soil drenches, soil injection or foliar sprays. We use micro infusion and macro infusion (similar to IV treatment) to treat these problems and to also injection nutrients through the trees vascular system.
